We have published an article on the role of RUNX3 in Wnt signaling regulation in Gastric cancer cells in Cancer Science.

Professor Han Kwang Yang and his stuff and graduate students of Cancer Research Institute, Seoul National University visited our laboratory. We had a graduate student interaction event and Seminar by Professor Yang.

New postdoctoral fellows for CREST program, Dr. Taesu Han and Mizuho Nakayama joined laboratory.

We have organized International Symposium on Carcinogenic Spiral & Tumor Biology in Kanazawa. Symposium was very successful and about 150 people including 6 oversea outstanding scientists participated in the symposium.

Dr. Brendan Jenkins has published in Cancer Cell about the role of STAT3 in gastric tumorigenesis in collaboration with us and Singapre team.

Former graduate student Dr. Dan Kong won Takayasu Prize Award for her thesis concerning “miR-7 and inflammation in gastric cancer”.
